Yes folks that right, rumours are around that Tom Cruise has signed on for Top Gun 2! The potential plot will see Tom reignite the afterburners on ole Maverick and come face to face with a cocky young female pilot.

As if Hollywood hadn't rehashed enough of the older movies, Tom has reportedly agreed to become Maverick once again..
The story was broken by an English tabloid paper.....so it could be argued that the chances of the story being true are in fact a million to one. Ever since the breaking of this story there have been a number of sources either confirming or denying the rumour;

Whilst admittedly it is hard to imagine 5 G-Forces and the impact on Tommy's face these days, surely any Top Gun fan would love the opportunity to rekindle acquaintances with an old friend!

Hell Raising?
