There is a new rumour going around courtesy of Dread Central that a new Ghostbusters movie is in the pipeline.
The rumour is that Steve Carell and Seth Rogan will join the four original Ghostbusters, Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson.
Whilst I can probably imagine seeing Dan, Harold and Ernie running around with Proton Packs on their backs it's hard for me to picture an almost 60 y/o Bill Murray sliming some ghosts.
Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II are amongst my all time favourite 'claaaaaaasic' movies and as much as I'd love to see a remake, the idea is probably 10 or so years too late.
So is this another case of Hollywood running out of ideas, ala the Indy IV, Rocky and Rambo remakes OR is their a new audience for a remake of a very funny 80's sci-fi comedy.
If they were to remake it.....what about casting Jack Black?
