The Best Animated Christmas Special

My favorite animated Christmas special is a Charlie Brown Christmas. I grew up watching Charlie Brown and Lucy and I am now in my twenties with a child and one on the way. I love how innocent and fun the whole Peanuts gang is. The great thing about this special is its longevity. The special always makes my face light up every year and I look forward to it. I recently watched the special with my son who is four years old. He had never heard of Charlie Brown so the whole experience was entirely new to him.
I enjoyed seeing his reaction to the special. He loved Snoopy,Charlie Brown,and Lucy. He is a big fan of dogs so it was not surprising that he liked Snoopy so much. I watch my favorite animated Christmas special on DirectStarTV. We all gather around the couch and sit down together. We eat popcorn,drink juice, and sing carols after the special is over.
The Charlie Brown Christmas special might seem like it is too childish for adults to watch but I like feeling like a kid again at the holidays. I look forward to its airing the week after Thanksgiving. It takes me back to a simpler time in life and with a stressful life; I appreciate it very much.
