Survivor is the best reality show on television

By far the best reality show on TV is one of the original reality shows - Survivor. I watch this show every Wednesday; it plays on CBS and also on demand through my Cable TV. This is the most exciting reality show on, and is in fact my one guilty pleasure.
Survivor has three things that make it great. First, it always takes place in a beautiful location, replete with views of beaches, jungles, interesting animals and more. Second, there is always an exciting physical component to the show. Season after season, we get to watch competitors struggle to survive by building shelters, finding food and water and of course participating in challenges that help determine who will go home that week. Third, Survivor has a strong psychological component. It is very exciting to watch week after week as these people from vary different backgrounds struggle to live together. It is also interesting to watch how each one deals with the challenging physical environment, as well as the social aspects of the game.
The host, Jeff, also makes the show fun. He does a great job of prodding players on, pointing out when they make mistakes or praising them when they do something great. He asks probing questions during tribal counsel, when people are deciding who to vote out; he just does a great job keeping the game at a fast pace. Every season of this show has a fresh new twist - it is most certainly the best reality show on television.
