Sherlock Holms and Avatar are battling it out for the top spot

Sherlock Holmes the new crime caper starring Robert Downey Jr is battling it out with James Cameron's Avatar for the top spot on this weeks Box Office chart.
With earlier estimates out for Friday it looks like Sherlock Holmes will win.
Friday Est.
Holmes 24.8 million
Now the key to this is this is the second weekend for Avatar which has already grossed 160 million in the U.S alone.
Other Key release this weekend was Alivn and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel which did a very good 14.5 million on Friday.
It's Complicated did a respectable 7 million on Friday.
Look for this to be the final figures when the come out on Monday:
Sherlock Holmes 69.9 million
Avatar 65.2 million
Alivn and the Chipmunks 38.7 million
It's Complicated 19.5 Million
