A great Season Finale this year had to be Sheer Genius, a show which I watched on my bestchoicetv for the entire season. Hosted by Camilla Alvez, the show followed several hair stylists on a journey to become the best of the best. Each of them were very good in their own ways, but were thrown into challanges that took them out of their comfort zones.
Each week, they would do a total of two challenges and compete against each other in order to make it back the next week. From working with difficult clients, to opinionated judges, this was not an easy task. In the end the winner was Brie, the girl who was the most hated the entire season. It was interesting to see her grow from week to week and overcome every challenge all the while being hated by her competitors.
Brie was innovative, creative and daring. She did not see in between the lines at all. She did what she thought would help her win the competition where as all of the other contestants were sticking strictly to the rules. She proved that she saw potential in every head of hair she worked on and she created works or art, rather than hair cuts/styles. Brie was truly Sheer Genius and she deserved to win the competition, hands down.
