"Priest" Struggles to fourth place finish

Paul Bettany is at it again with "Priest". Scott Charles Stewart directs Bettany in his second full length film. Bettany also starred in Stewart's "Legion" from 2009. "Priest" opened with only $14.5 million dollars at 2864 theaters. The production cost for the film was $60 million and will need good word of mouth to reach that mark in the United States. " Priest" Struggled against the other new wide release " Bridesmaids" and couldn't counter " Thor" or "Fast Five". The movie opened in Fourth place.
The Plot for " Priest" is real simple. A priest disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece.
Over 1800 votes have been cast on IMDB.com. The movie brings in a rating of 5.5 stars.
With the so-so reviews "Priest" will struggle to make the mark it needs to make.
