Paranormal Activity 3 crushes all other films

Costing only five million dollars to make Paranormal Activity 3 destroyed the competition. Earning an est. $54 million in its opening weekend Paranormal showed Johnny English and the Musketeers were no match.
There was four somewhat major releases this weekend. The Mighty Macs opened in 975 theaters while Johnny English Reborn started in 1552 theaters. The Three Musketeers opened in a little over 3000 theaters while Paranormal Activity 3 took its scare tactics to over 3300 theaters.
While Paranormal opened big the other three did not fair well at all. The Musketeers could only manage a little over $ 8 million dollars while Johnny English Reborn never got off on the right foot earning only about $3.8 million. The Mighty Macs earned a little over $1 million dollars.
