Move over BATMAN! Avatar is here

Earlier est. have Avatar claiming the top spot at the box office for another week. With the reported 36 million it will take in this weekend Avatar will move past Batman: Dark Night into the number 2 slot on the all time list behind Titanic.
New releases had a up and down weekend. Legion brough in an est. 18 million. With a budget of 26 million this is a very good opening for the movie. The Tooth Fairy did not have a good weekend with an opening of 14.5 million it will take it awhile to make back the 48 million dollar budget. Extraordinary Measure opened with a 7 million dollar weekend which will slowly but surley make back the 31 million budget for the film.
The Book of Eli brought in 17 million to raise its total to 62 million after 10 days in release.
Alivn and the Chimpmunks; The Squeakquel passed the 200 million dollar mark this weekend.
