Breaking Down 2010 So Far (July 20)

Well so far this year in movies has seen alot of ups but also alot of downs.
As of today a total of 266 movies have made their way to the big screen in America.
14 movies have crossed the 100 million dollar mark.
65 movies have made 10 million dollars at the box office.
98 have made atleast 1 million dollars.
Some of the big name disappoints in my opinion are:
The Runaways 3.5 million
Jonah Hex 10.1 million
Repo Men 13.7 million
The Sorcerer's Apprentice 24.7 million
Lets take a look at the top movies
Toy Story 3
Alice In Wonderland
Iron Man 2
All of those movies have made over 300 million a piece
Eclipse
Shrek Forever After
How to Train Your Dragon
All of those movies have made over 200 million a piece
So all in all this year is looking okay for the box office. Will it break last years mark? NO but, it will be a good year the same.
Check back in a couple of weeks to see how the movies Salt, Cats & Dogs 2 and numerous others do at the box office.
