Well Jim Carrey is number 1 again. A Christmas Carol took the number 1 spot with a take of 30 million dollars.
With four major new release and one surprise all in all it was a good week to go to the movies.
New Releases
A Christmas Carol 30 million
The Men who stare at goats 12.7 million
The Fourth Kind 12.2 million
The Box 7.5 million
Precious 1.8 million
The surprise movie was Precious. Precious opened on only 18 screens and made that whopping total of 1.8 million.
The Box was a bomb averaging on 2,800 dollars on the 2600 screens in started with.
Hot News:
Paranormal Activity held strong to fifth place and pushed it total to 97 million dollars.
Couples Retreat is up to 95 million dollars earned.
