May was a good month to release a movie in 1991. Twenty movies made their way to the big screen. This month produced a couple of good movies and a couple of flops according to the experts. Well as you can tell i am no expert but i liked some of the movies the said were terrible. For example i like Hudson Hawk i enjoy watching it every time it comes on. It is a funny movie to me and when it comes down to it everyone has their own opinion and tastes in movies.
My top 5 movies from May 1991:
#5 Hudson Hawk
A cat burglar is forced to steal Da Vinci works of art for a world domination plot.
#4 Stone Cold
Joe Huff is a tough, go-it-alone cop with a flair for infiltrating dangerous biker gangs. The FBI blackmail Joe into an undercover operation to convict some extremely violent bikers, who are angry at the capture of their leader.
#3 What About Bob?
A successful psychiatrist loses his mind after one of his most dependent patients, a highly manipulative obsessive-compulsive, tracks him down during his family vacation.
#2 Backdraft
Two Chicago firefighter brothers who don't get along have to work together while a dangerous arsonist is on the loose.
#1 Thelma & Louise
An Arkansas waitress and a housewife shoot a rapist and take off in a '66 Thunderbird.
