December 14th 2011 15:45
As we near 2012 all films released in 1992 are hitting that 20 year mark. The question for all films from that time is did they leave their mark. Over the course of the next 24 posts we will take a look at all the films from 1992 that might have left a mark in your heart.
Back at the beginning of 1992 I was a 14 year old getting into lots of trouble. Movies were a release for me. Watching my favorite stars on screen wishing i could become an actor.
When the year started I was actually looking forward to "Bloodfist III: Forced to Fight". Watching any Don "The Dragon" Wilson movies were fun back then. Of course the movie bombed and i would watch it on VHS a couple of months later. The Movie itself wasn't terrible but could have been better.
You can actually watch the whole movie on youtube.
One of my favorite actors back then was Christian Slater. His 1992 movie "Kuffs" was a funny movie. It wasn't a classic and probaly only a 14 year old boy would like it but hey it made me laugh and thats all that matters.
The Top movie for Janurary was "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" Now that movie was cool. Rebecca De Mornay is hot in this movie. Plot is simply for the movie. After her humiliated husband kills himself, an embittered pregnant widow loses her child, and embarks on a mission of vengeance against a woman and her family.
"The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" would make over 88 million dollars at the box office and finish as the 12th watched movie of 1992. "Kuffs" brought in 21 million to land in 62nd place overall.
Check back for Part 2 were we will talk about "Juice", "Free Jack" and " Shining Through"
